From a consumer's point of view, on-line shopping can be a bad experience. i.e. pay for an item, then contacted by the seller of the item that they're out of stock, and advised to select another product. It's risky business shopping on-line i.e. it can be scam; on-line shopping is not recommended. Go to a reputable dealer. Also, a rule of thumb might be the more a product is advertised, the lower the product quality. Advertising costs huge dollars and high performance or high product quality is always the first thing that is sacrificed by the manufacturer. The important thing is to know WHY stereo equipment is being purchased and the question to ask yourself is WILL IT DO THE JOB? Sadly, a lot of well known household name brands do not do the job. Do your homework well, or quite likely you'll be buying stereo equipment than won't do the job. I have been a car stereo enthusiast with over 40 years experience; I'm definitely not a novice. I have had the privilege and the honor of helping on 2 Expert Division competition stereo system installations, both of which brought home 1st place trophies.
